There was a post in the NYTimes last week where a couple from Brooklyn posed moving to Hawaii, and the residents of the island, mostly main- landers living there gave them advice. You say live there again, I’m thinking that maybe you have a more positive spin than those that responded to the post, most of them said not to do the move and they regretted it and wanted to move back to the main land but felt trapped. I’m curious because living in Hawaii has always been a though in the back of my mind.

Yeah, it depends on the work situation for most people (I have that covered as well as I can from a career perspective); as far as ‘island fever’, I’ve lived there already for a few years, so that situation is a non-issue. I am comfortable with the culture and already know what to expect; additionally my preferred island is not as desolate as the Big Island, Kauai, Lanai. I want to get back to check out the progress. Gotta get outta oaktown, i’m sure you feel me.
