Looks idyllic

Great shot

Thanks ~ it was...

... I only had my phone with me. It turned out quite well, didn’t it?

Definitely

I like the layering of dimensions –
Foreground = tractor,
Mid = Field & strong central tree,
Horizon = Interesting depth of sea & land

I know you have a very artistic eye anyway! You could almost base a quilt on a shot like this!

You know Tony...

... that is an amazing idea…

Now you have my head spinning around with fabric and thread ;-)

Thankyou for you very kind comments :)

Happy Mother's Day Pippi...

well, we ate waaaayyyyy toooooo much, but anyway the menu was ~

Potato Soup made with dutch creams and creamy blue
Salad with Marinated Goat Curd
Tagine (lamb) (there was a vegetarian option) which I had with spiced cous cous
A platter of their cheese
and then dessert – whoa
Chocolate Espresso cake with vanilla bean gelato and their vanilla whey liqueur

All very yummy and delicious. The boys would love it, as you can go down and pat the sheep and feed them and watch the milking.

This was perfect...

... family dining. They have a huge decking area with bistro blinds.

There were lots of family groups ~ babies, toddlers, all running up and down looking at the sheep. It was so cute. Just made for you ;-)

If you don’t want to sit down to a huge meal you can just order snacks and coffee and do wine and cheese tasting too…!

That's so funny!

I had a final wander through Salamanca Market on my last Saturday in Hobart, and came across the Grandvewe stall.

I tried the cheddar (very tasty)... but then sampled some of the amazing blue cheese. It was so yummy, I bought some to bring back with me! (I think it’s called BlueByEwe. It didn’t last long.) I’d decided it’s a definite on our list of places to visit when we get back to Tas.

(Is it just me, feeling that’s a little coincidental?)

Thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit (AND Mother’s Day) so much!

Just a bit..

... too scary and coincidental?

Isn’t their cheese just divine? We certainly got a fair share of it yesterday. A beautiful venue. You will love it…

Had a great day, thanks:)

Scary...

in a good way. ;-D

Ah, the reasons for returning to Tassie keep mounting up!
