In 2006/7 I read a book by Rodriguez about how he read 2000 books which as a result gave him competences that aided him as an PhD Student who later had offers of Tenure(?)in University Departments.
I have read about 60 of the total and last year only read a lousy 13 brought on by a very slow reading through of big name Philosophy texts made the figure above a very low figure making me feel low.
If I read 50 books a year, not only would I be able to participate in other 50 Book Challenge threads but my reading would have a healthy level given the number of heavy new deep Philosophy readings involved for this Research draft Proposal Reply Project.
