I don't want a dream house, 7 months ago

I want to keep the house I grew up in. But it could be just like a pretty dream house if it’s fixed up. And there is lots of room for improvement.

Today so far:
  • did the dishes
  • cleaned up a shelf in the bathroom
  • mailed a letter
  • set up my father’s laptop
  • vacuumed the carpet
