1. To hunch or draw oneself up and move (through, down, etc.); scrunch.

2. To slide as with short, jerky movements.

Just a funny word. And how did this word evolve over time? I’m glad our ancestors had senses of humor.

I always say, “scooch over”, and it makes me think of my mum.
