Megynn is the sun and the moon and the stars all in one.
After a lot of thought and a lot of reflection, I realize that I was in a full fledged manic when I got this tattoo. And I didn’t think it through. And I didn’t research my artist well enough. And now I’m paying for it.
After the last session with the original artist in which he took drugs, did 2 drug deals, and spent more time outside the room than working on my back, I decided I needed to find someone new. My sister recommended a man named Conan Lea of Voluta Tattoo in Indianapolis, and I am absolutely thrilled that I found him. He is like a breath of fresh air compared to the other artists I’ve met and worked with. His studio feels more like a spa than one of those nasty ink shops. There is no flash on the walls. Everything is calm and beautiful, and he is so incredibly caring and talented.
He and I talked about what I’ve got and where I want it to go, and I know I’ve put my trust in the right person. There are many, many hours ahead of me, but Conan is willing to give me plenty of time between sessions and is 100% capable of giving me what I’ve been hoping for for so long: a beautiful piece of art.
If you live in the Indy area, I encourage you to check out Conan and his team. His website is volutatattoo.com. You won’t be disappointed.
