There is no better way to get perspective on your current place in life than to step as far away from it as possible. I have been living in the US for 12 years now, and I’m starting to appreciate it less and less. Going to Europe for a year would let me see some incredible sites, but also learn to appreciate all the places I’ve called home. Maybe I could do a study abroad program when I am pursuing my MA degree.
