has always been to reach out to people. To challenge, inspire, and instigate people. I always joke when I speak publicly and insist that my anointing in life is to ‘Comfort the Afflicted and Afflict the Comfortable’. Not only is it a passion of mine, I want to build my life around serving people and promoting a better world. Recently, I completely organized an event- money, people, phone calls, organization, placement, marketing, etc. I was solely responsible for raising close to $1000 in 2 weeks. One can surmise that this isn’t the easiest of tasks.

What I found as I marketed this event that people, businesses, churches, and organizations were much more willing to write checks to another organization or non-profit than just a person. Unfortunately, the money had to go through Me or else it wouldn’t get to the numerous places it had to go.

Not only would starting a non-profit help me with donations and money moving, it would legitimize my cause and effectively open up more avenues of influence. It’s my goal in the next few months to set up a non-profit organization, most likely an LLC, in the State of Tennessee and begin utilizing it in the fullest sense.
