become financially independant
Financial Freedom = More Time, More Creativity and More Effectiveness 6 months ago

I’ve learned that money doesn’t buy hapiness and it certainly isn’t everything in life but it does free up a person to be more effective in life in various ways. For example, as I sit here at my desk (while I’m supposed to be working), I am a part of an organization that helps people rid themselves of drugs and alcohol. I am very happy to work within this organization but my abilities are limited here. I feel I am more than just a worker. I am an innovator, a designer, a planner and ultimately a creator. We as humans have fallen into the trap of employer/employee where we have told ourselves that our abilities are limited only to the job that we are assigned to do. That’s just not true. I’ve come to realize that this job is not my life but a means to get money (for now). I’ve learned from various sources that people don’t take the lead in their own life because of three reasons: They don’t have the knowledge, they are lazy or they are too scared. Mine is that I just don’t know how. That is what I am working on at this time.

My vision is to leave my business behind as I cruise 2 weeks across the country on my chopper or take my family away to our summer home and escape the Florida summer heat. Being a race fan I would love owning my own race team one day and enjoy suto racing from the other side of the fence. I’d love my wife to wake up every day and smile knowing that she can watch our son grow up without having to leave for work. All this and many other reason why I am no longer making excuses for my life anymore.
