feel the fear and do it anyway (read all 13 entries…)
taper off my prozac 4 months ago

This is a biggie, because I feel like I really need the stuff. My OB says, however, that most women taper off in the third trimester if they can because the baby can actually have withdrawal symptoms for up to two weeks, including seizures! He sounded like I can choose to stay on it, but I cannot take that chance for my baby girl.I’ve gone off it before with BAD results (almost divorced during that time). So this is a bit terrifying. Prayer, prayer, prayer.

How are you feeling? Are you getting any therapy?

DoubleN is working on selling the house

With

that background, I can see how you’d be afraid, but I’m sure you can do this, and am praying for you, too. {{{{{Proud}}}}}

Missa Is enjoying her maternity leave. I'm greatful for every day I have.

I was taken off it before I tried to concieve

(was started after I had Postpartum depression) It’s been tough and I’m really emotional now and I really miss it. I think they didn’t want me on Clomid and Zoloft. Good luck to you. At this late stage, I wonder if you’d know what is depression and what is “I’m in my third trimester, huge, moody, and hot as hell?”

Good points

I want to see a therapist when I get back to FL so I can catch it before it gets bad, if it’s gonna. It’s so easy to isolate myself when depression hits anyway, but I will be new in town, unemployed, with a new baby and a husband who’s away at military drills and starting a new business. I see a lot of possible pitfalls for myself. Do you you know much about treating depression nutritionally? I know exercise helps, but it’s not such a great option for me right now….

No, I don't know about treating it

nutritionally. I’ve been swimming lately. I’m not a swimmer at all, but I’ve been really enjoying it. I’m actually doing aqua aerobics for preggos. It helps. I’m doing well right now, as long as Andrew doesn’t have massive tantrums, then I feel really overwhelmed.

I may your copy your idea

and try to find a class when I get to Florida.
