i’ve always had a fascination with iran – the food, the culture, and the language! i’ve always loved foreign language, and had the opportunity to take farsi in college, but passed up the chance because i didn’t think it was “practical” enough. i’m trying to start moving away from the mindset that things must be “useful” in order to be worthwhile, though. so, ten years later, i’m ready to do it!

i’m considering using rosetta stone, but i’ve heard mixed things about it. one downside of the internet – info overload! and, it’s expensive. i found out about easypersian.com while browsing this topic, so i’ll probably give that a shot!
