as i hated it when i was younger, and technically i haven’t ‘done’ anything, other than leave it alone. but now i do love it.
Comments:
thank you!
i used to spend tons in money and time straightening it, but now, i realize how lucky i am. as for the red, my natural color is not quite this red. but as a child i had almost orange hair. my boyfriend is also a redhead, and then our little boy has his red (orange) ears and tail, he looks just like us! (except for the whole species thing)
yeah, my baby has crossed eyes, and actually will run into things because he can’t see very well, so i understand the sore points too well. so yeah, he is fat and looks funny. but they are our babies, so we can be honest, other people better say how beautiful they are! that would be like telling a newborn’s mom the kid looks funny. lol.
I think it is human nature to want the kind of hair you don't have.
Curlies want straight and vice versa.
My hair just doesn’t grow long (it’s very thin and fine) and I have been a longhair wannabe for as long as I can remember.
Red hair, though, you can do something about. I was born boring light brown… have been red fore years now. I sometimes tell people, “It matches my karma.” And it does!
agreed
‘the grass is greener’ and such.
i spent so much time, money and energy trying to straighten my hair, next to my girlfriends spending the same to get curls. and all of us thinking how much we’d rather have the other’s hair.
these days, i can take a compliment, and encourage others to enjoy what they have. i will definitely admit to encouraging my own redness though. ;) i was born with red, but i grew up to boring brown, loll. my love has natural red though, he only uses a box to hide the gray. every once in a while i find myself feeling a tiny bit jealous, and then laugh remembering my teenage self.
