On my dog-walk this evening, I passed a guy walking 2 of his, and he said “Hello, Cutie!” (presumably to my canine, even though I felt like the comment might possibly, and even probably! {i just have a sense for these things} have been directed towards me). A few minutes later it started getting dark so I turned around and i guess he had the same idea because we crossed paths again. I said something, he said something, I agreed. Then he asked my dog’s breed and name and I did the same. He asked my name, I asked his. He said my name was really nice and asked where it came from. I told him, he called me a cutie pie and sorta hit on me. (I became positive he had directed the comment towards me earlier, too!) I told him I’d see him soon and kept walking.

I’m assuming we’ll meet again on another walk. I would have flirted back, but he’s too old for me. Why lead him on when I know I don’t want to go down that path?
