I am trying to lose 150lbs. When I did run in high school, it was only short sprints. I have never been good at long distance. I know this goal will take a while and I will have to lose a bunch of weight first, but I know I can do it. I have heel problems from a recent injury and knee damage from a bad car wreck(which helped put on 75 of the pounds that I need to lose). I began walking at the track yesterday. I went this morning and jogged not even 1/4 of the track when leaving, but I am slowly working up my endurance. I am so out of shape right now. I am walking again tonight and then tomorrow morning again with my brother, so we will see how it goes from there.
