I live alone. It is quiet here. Some people would call quiet, silence. I don’t know, maybe it is a radical thought, but it is pretty darn quiet. So, there is the silence part. Now, the spend lots of time. Let’s see, there are 24 hours in a day. I live alone. So, pretty much, I spend 24 hours a day in silence. Unless I go somewhere and actually hear people speaking… but I really don’t listen to them, so that would actually be silence time as well. It’s especially quiet in the winter. Eerie, too. Kinda of an eerie silence. Maybe I should revise this goal. “Spend lots of time in eerie silence while thinking of purple dyed sheep doing the foxtrot”.
How I create silence...

Can I suggest a book?
It’s called “The Other Way to Listen,” by Byrd Baylor. It’ll probably be in the kids section of the library, but it’s not only a kids book…
Anyway, it’s how I learned about silence.

Do you listen to music?
I love music. I think I would have music on for most of my waking hours if I lived alone and didn’t have TV.
