I’m embarrassed to say that we still haven’t had people over for dinner, but we are having a friend over for lunch today, so maybe that counts a little. The house has been such an impassable mess that I was embarrassed to let anyone in except for our very closest friends. In recent weeks, however, we have cleared off a couple of key horizontal services. There is still plenty of stacked up clutter, but one can sit on all the chairs and the couch in the living room and the dining room table is completely clear for the first time in about a year. So, there has been progress. I would like to make more because I want to have people over to meet the dog and I would like to have friends, colleagues and neighbors over without it being a big deal.
