Duck Photos
White ducks are called Pekins and the brown are Rouen. Amazingly, they were sent to us unsexed and all 10 are females!

Gosh, what did we name them… Let’s see… Pecan, Hazelnut, Pistachio, Peanut, Acorn, Walnut, Almond, Cashew, Chestnut and Pine Nut!

No, no

Some of the chickens, if we have any roosters, may get it come fall, but the ducks and pigs are pets. My mom’s one pig, “Piggy” got loose and was picked up by the Humane Society and when she claimed him she was so happy to have him back she was crying.

I should probably clarify some of the chickens we bought this spring if there are roosters may get butchered, but our roosters in the photos or anything with a name, stays.

Accually I have a whole hour before I have to leave for work… Sure I have cleaning to do.. but the dishes are done and the animals fed.. so I am taking my camera for a walk:)instead of sitting here on my butt!

Loved all the pics!

Thanks for sharing. Made me think back to all the animals we had growing up. We didn’t have any pigs but had most of the other types of animals you have plus a couple of lambs and a steer. Also, my little brother had a pet monkey.
