AC/DC 5 months ago

I just stood in line in the blistering Dunedin cold to go $700 overdrawn for ACDC tickets, I have no way of getting to Wellington yet, or anywhere to stay and my mate is out at sea so I’m guessing he’ll want to buy one of them and the woman my other ticket’s for doesn’t know yet and may not want to come either. I work a minimum wage, casual job I have less than a weeks rent in cash, but it’s ACDC man!

When was the last time you threw caution to the wind and spent money you didn’t have on something you didn’t need but really really wanted?

Comments:

Try all the time? haha.

I dunno, really. I suppose a kinda expensive top a few weeks ago, but I really like it so I’m glad.

Aineg Go Buckeyes!!!!

I can't think

of one time where I’ve done that.
I mean…I’ve spent too much on things before, when I really wanted them…but I always HAD the money, and that was my justification. You know? I said to myself…”Do I need that expensive purse? No. But can I afford it, and do I want it? Yes.”

BeautifulDay wants to be in a somewhere else place far away from here

Never

Same as Aineg. That’s what parents are for… ;)

Though, my parents just bought a car they don’t need about 5 months before I start university. And not a cheap little Civic or anything. So obviously they didn’t buy it because we needed another car. They just freaking wanted one… five months before I go to university.

It is their money though… suppose I shouldn’t complain.

We’re going to Las Vegas this weekend.

Now, we’re only going because my wife’s uncle is paying for the airfare (he has tons of frequent flier miles that are expiring shortly that he can’t possibly use by himself, so we took him up on his offer, along with several other relatives), but there are other related costs (hotel, etc.) that we really shouldn’t be spending on, but here we are, doing it anyway . . .

Last two

vacations. The one over seas and the one where I went gem hunting with my son. I am glad I did it though…

nicolasc needs to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into her being. After all, you are what you eat....no, wait...

Well, first off I am jealous.

I have yet to see them in concert. They were here last year and the cheapest ticket available was about $180, it was Christmas time and I was already strapped for cash, so I didn’t go. So let us all know how they were.

To answer your question, the last two weeks with travel and birthdays I’ve been doing a lot of that.

jess jess jess feliz año nuevo!

i'm going to be doing that very soon actually.

i have no job (teachers don’t work during the summer!) and i have no money….

but i’m going to charge a new tattoo on my credit card, i think.

yay! :)

Well, I am very poor....

so anytime I buy anything, it’s an investment.
Mostly books or music, since that’s all I buy really…and I buy a lot of them.
There was a book sale at the library last weekend, I got about five books.

Colin in the hardtimes you're on our own has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
