I have no idea when I will do this. I’m not very good at planning (I usually book my trips right before I go) and to do this you better prepare a lot first. All I know so far is that I’d like to start from Saint Jean Pied de Port and that I’d like to go either in March-May or September-November when it’s not too warm and not too crowdy.

Is there a pilgrim's outfit you're supposed to wear?
I have doing the 88 Temples of Shikoku Pilgrimage as a goal on 43T, which I would also do by bicycle. Pilgrims (“Henro” in Japanese) are typically supposed to wear a special outfit, which might be practical for walking it, less practical for bicycling it.
Is there any thing special you are supposed to wear for the camino de santiago?
I haven’t read anything about any special outfits, and in the pictures I have watched people seem to be wearing normal clothes.
I’ve never heard of the Shikoku Pilgrimage before, but I checked it out and it looks like it would surely be an amazing experience! Maybe I should do that one as well some time. :)

If you're considering it by bike
Here’s a blog of someone who did it in 2 weeks by bike. Two weeks is pretty fast – I know it usually takes about 2 months or more to do it on foot.
