I’d been wanting a type-writer for a while, though it’s a goal neither my parents nor my friends much understood. n_n; Something about the essence of writing on a type-writer… seems very comfortable. I actually had the chance to buy one and missed my opportunity, the local Goodwill had one and someone snatched it up literally minutes before I would’ve gotten to it. n__n;; And one day when I was out with my father, at a big flea market, we passed a woman selling two. I’m proud to say I’m the owner of an old Royal type-writer. :3 They usually aren’t very expensive if you find one locally (generally $20-40), the key is really to check everywhere that might sell older things. Goodwill, flea markets, yard sales, estate sales, and check through everything, sometimes they get covered up with things, especially if they’re in cases. Writing on one is completely amazing, it makes one feel distinguished. xD Very well worth the time it takes to find one. :3
