Dragon *Con 2009 3 months ago

I took my 15 year old neighbor to Dragon *Con last Saturday. It’s a huge convention for comics, science fiction,fantasy, and movies. It’s held every year at a hotel about a mile from my house. There is a parade and costume contests and tons of authors and stars from tv shows and movies. We got autographs on his comic books and met a few writers.

sabryn okay...how about a calm December?

I do and don't

want to go to Dragon*Con. The geek in me salivates at the thought of being in the same building as my favorite actors and writers. But I think the crowd would unhinge me. (Thinking of going to the mall around the holidays makes me break out in a cold sweat.)

It was a moot point this year. Too broke, too busy. A friend of mine went, though. I’m waiting to hear the report. (Assuming he came back…)
