Not that I don’t mind virtual parties…but I’m worried that my hubby may lose his job in March…
He’s upper level management and the company has tanked in sales….they brought someone in over him two years ago, then fired his boss….and then hired someone to split his division…
We’d have a real hard time having a whoop-de-doo party on my lowly teacher’s salary!

My unsolicited advice
Have the party anyway, even if it means a little debt. It only happens once, and another job will come along soon enough. Although I hope he doesn’t lose his job, of course! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

...and I still get April 12! (counts on fingers) January, February, March is three months, plus 16 days (since you wrote it two days ago) would put you into April! So unless I messed up the math, you only have two months and sixteen days to get ready! Oh no!!!

It’s no fun getting older, but they say it’s better than the alternative. I’m still a couple years away from 40 yet. I’ll have to think of something big and fun to do. Something to look forward to instead of dread.

Now, several of my girlfriends now want to camp out in my trailer in the summer for a girls’ weekend – since I’m the driver of this huge thing now, I’m not so sure about that, since they seem to like to see me in an altered state!
