God, I am almost 98 Kg (196 pounds) and I have to loose it or get some real serious trouble by getting diabetes, cholesterol, breathing difficulty, but so far I only be able to loose 2 – 3 kilos (4 – 5 pounds), I’ve done many kind of diets, starting from starving my self, only eat apples for meals for two weeks, only eat diet-cookies and milk, but so far, it only make have an illness that require me to eat antacid every time it attacks, and now I am doing this diet, by not starving my self, but only eat meals with no snack between meals at a reduced portion, swimming and cycling, so far I’ve lost 6 pounds but gain 2 more pounds after stop the exercises. One of my friends said no need to starve our self to loose weight, just make sure we eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. One method that so popular years ago in my country was having acupuncture to reduce appetite, thus reduce food-intake, but do far have no guts to do it yet, because when on the treatment, rice and carbohydrate alike are off-limits

I understand how you feel. I tried that as well. But I have learned that when we don’t eat it actually triggers our body to store everything that we do eat so the key that I have found is to eat 5 to 6 small meals each day and drink lots of water. Keep a food journal …..believe me it is hard but once you do and you see what you are eating then you will change your habits. We are in this together I found that when you have someone to cheer you on and to work with you it makes it a lot easier.
