1. I like to set my goals in steps. If there is a beautiful end goal which is farther away, I’m less likely to work on it. Once I do this, I can move it down to 30” or whatever.
2. It seems like a small but definite improvement. If I say 40 inches, that’s something that could fluctuate with normal ups and downs.
3. And really, it’s arbitrary. Somebody else here created that “thing”, so I added it.
