I’ve had to take ALL but $10 out of the reserve funds, in order to cover recent expenses.
Ouch.

you had the cash to cover expenses. Not all spent on pizza and lottery tickets!

Your comment gave me some much needed cheer / good perspective – so thank you!
Though I must admit, had I not spent $$ on costumes for D*C, I’d have had a larger reserve… at least it wasn’t frittered on disposables.
Balancing fun and funds is an art sometimes!

Dragon.Con comes but once a year, we can spend all year making money. Hey, maybe we should spend all year making money for Dragon.Con!

I like your evil plan :)
I bought my FroliCon ticket while at D*C, since I had such a good time there last year.
So, budget wise, we’ve got Cons, Opera, and the acoutremont needed for both… food and living indoors the rest of the year… what’d I miss? ;)

Me loves an evil plan! I bought my FroliCon tickets at DC, too, but I have never been. Hear nothing but good things about it, though.
Budget-wise, I don’t remember indoor living being a deal-breaker… >;)
