Live Your Fulfilling Life HAPPY 2013!
So I just finished writing my How to (after I completed my first goal) for Learning the Thriller Dance routine. I’m happy not only because I’m going to be a part of the Thrill the World event next month, but because I actually overcame a few obstacles to be able to complete this thing. The night before the day of the class, I was debating whether or not I’d still be able to achieve this since class was at 10am the next day (Wake up earlier). The morning is what I’d truly have to overcome. I didn’t get to bed until 1am, and I awoke at 7am. I felt it was too early, and I wanted to sleep in. 43 minutes (hah!) went by as I laid in bed. I then realized it was something I really wanted to learn to be able to participate in the event, since I missed it last year. (Plus, one of the things I wanted to be able to say I’ve completed on my list) I dragged myself out of bed, got ready, and drove the 50 minutes to the next city where the class was being held. After the tiring 3 hours, I left feeling accomplished. Also, I’m proud of myself for writing the How to within a few hours of finishing the goal, because I know I would have procrastinated and eventually ended up not getting around to it. (Just as I’ve procrastinated putting ‘Stop Procrastinating’ on my list.)
Something that made me feel as though I’ve made the right decision is after reading my horoscope for the day:
Given today’s planetary energies, it appears that you have two options, dear Taurus: either you stay in bed fantasizing about the life you could have as a Fortune 500 CEO or a celebrity; or you get up, get dressed, and do what you have to do to make your dreams come true.
It’s true… my biggest antagonist is myself.
