I’m always tempted by the books when I go to the dollar store. I can’t stop myself from looking, and during this moritorium period I have been sorely tempted by a few—and after all, they’re only a dollar…. But one of my other goals is to read a book a week, in order to help clear my already overflowing bookshelves, and I have noticed that the majority of the books I’ve bought at the dollar store in the past have been stinkers, which has helped keep me from breaking this goal. (A few of the dollar store books have been quite good, and I’ve even gotten some coffee-table type books there as well. So they’re not all bad.)
