I’m only going for semester 1 of 2010, and I’ll be studying at Purdue uni in Indiana. (random, right? But it was the most different to Brisbane that I could choose from!) But i’m gonna go at the end of Nov and hang out in a REAL winter, and stay for a few months afterwards too.
Where are going to be based?? How long are you staying?

well, i’ll be working at disney world and there will be classes run through universities in florida, not sure which yet or if i’ll be taking studies at all but hopefully there are a couple of classes that i’ll be interested in. i’ll be there for a year so hopefully i manage okay without family and friends. i’ve already met a couple fellow aussies who’ll be doing the program who are starting in jan, so i’ll know a couple people before i’m thrown in the deep end :P
working at Disney world?! That has to be everybody’s fantasy deep down. If disney world is anything like disney land, that would be the raddest job ever.
You’re so lucky you’ve already met some people who’re going there..i haven’t! eeep! Yeah, kind of concerned about having zero family and friends around…but clearly we’re both tuff so i’m sure we’ll be fine. ha!

yeahh it was so lucky how it ended up happening!!
and i haven’t really ‘met’ them yet, more chatting and stuff on the net. there was a melbourne meet and greet but i was at uni and so i couldn’t make it. i was a bit bummed about that.
but i’m sure you’ll find a couple of chums in no time!!!
