Stuff that has broken this year and fix progress. Pending means I have thought often and hard about dealing with it, but have not yet.

The hope is that putting it out here will give me incentive to get it done.

• completely dead laptop that still has files I need (pending)
• oven—the striker for the gas oven won’t turn off after the gas lights, but keeps clicking throughout. I’m still waiting for the guy to come back with the magical part he needs to fix it. (pending)
• LCD TV (FUBAR; replaced)
• cello bridge (pending)
• stereo (pending)
• cat fountain pump (FUBAR, and not my fault [the catsitter let it run dry without unplugging it]—it only took me 6 months to replace the fountain)
• sewing machine (fixed)
• guitar neck (fixed, but the guitar has sat unloved for about a month)
• various mug handles and other bits of easily-fixed pottery (pending—the joy of slate floors)
• teapot lid (mostly fixed, but one small piece fell out last week, so pending)
• kettle lid (tempered glass, FUBAR)
• Crazy (possible liver and kidney—in progress)
• Palm Zire 31 screen (replaced Zire, but planning on getting the other Zire’s screen fixed for backup, so pending)
• my muscles (and no doubt other aspects of my health since I’ve been subsisting mostly on cereal and not exercising, even though I have all this time to do nothing but cook heathful meals and exercise and do yoga—my jeans are starting to feel tight. Not good.)
