This book is in ‘BBC the Big read top 100 books’ list, so i decided to give it a shot.

do i like Holden? not so… i think he thinks that he’s so much better than everyone else, the way he perceives the world surrounding him, the people, he’s just… i don’t know, weird… but can i understand Holden? i think i can… the way he thinks, the way he felt, the way he appreciates his sister and his brother… the way he perceives people… i think i can understand him, and perhaps i might once before experienced what he’s feeling. sometimes people just wanna be the catcher in the rye…

this is the first book written by a guy that i read… and it’s not a romance genre… totally different than any other that i’ve read before … it’s a fairly good change. i think overall this book worth a read.
