with 4 old friends this weekend. It is unfortunate that I’m led to talk with them under less-than cheerful conditions. But as I was saying to D today, this is a wake up call to actually make the choice to call, email, or see each other. We never know when it will be our last in this lifetime.

it is a choice to drop by and take an interest in our friends lives…. no matter what medium we use. I often think that busy becomes a convenient excuse for not doing so…. I know I would rather spend my time in the company of friends, online, by phone, or in person than being busy with mundane chores or a job I don’t like.
