The process of creating a portfolio helped me to crystalize what I’ve done with my life, as well as put me in a frame of mind that is extremely productive. It’s something of a ‘benchmarking’ tool – I can see what I’ve done already, so new activities and projects are attacked with an attitude of ‘how can I do this in a way that’s better than anything I’ve done before?’
