When i was a young girl in Southern California every year the butterflies would come, my sister and I would watch as they landed on everything in our yard. We tried to save them when they landed in the street but our parents would yell at us to get out of the street as it was a very busy one. We would do it anyway, it was worth it. I need to be there again someday.
