Being late is pretty much an inherent trait in my family, especially on my mom’s side. Despite this inevitability, I absolutely despise being late. It’s embarrassing to have to walk into a room after everyone is settled. The door is usually closed already, and if it’s at school, the teacher will pause for a second, acknowledge your lateness, and probably drop you a letter grade if it keeps happening. And for me, it just keeps HAPPENING!!!!
So, if anyone has any advise as to trumping my gene pool and showing up early, post any helpful comments you might have up your sleevies.
