even though it passed a couple days ago, i had a pretty significant 24 hours and thought it deserved to be posted about, so here’s my list of things that i was/am grateful for on the 5th of november, 2009:

being late
kathy being okay with the fact that i was late
getting dressed up
feeling pretty
buying new jeans
buying new red shoes
returning all my library books before due date
catching transport again – bus and train
having my period
my one year high school reunion
seeing people from high school that i actually like
hugs
seeing pregnant hayley
ellie driving me and kathy to and from the reunion
gossip
seeing caity for the first time in probably months, back from her week away in queensland
hanging at kathy’s
meeting kathy’s mum
meeting kathy’s dad
her parents are the sweetest!!
my couisin moving closer to me! <3
kathy’s sister ghina, so adorable
alcohol
juice that had alcohol in it
lollies
pub squash
left handedness
guitar
acoustic guitar
left handed people playing the acousit guitar, left handedly (i’m not quite sure that’s actually a word but anyway…)
matt emailing me back
seeing matt at the reunion
talking to him briefly at the reunion
seeing that not much has changed about him since i left
talking about the songs he’s learnt on the guitar
his facial hair
that he remembers my name even though i never took any classes with him, was never in his homeroom and only ever saw him before or after school or at lunch times and free periods
that he still lets me call him sir
that i work a skirt that day that showed off just enough skin
that i caught him checking out my legs
that he said he’d only be at the reunion from the starting time, for fifteen minutes but ended up staying for an hour and a half
mum picking me up
