Today as I listened to the horrors that some call their childhoods, I feel the world to be a brutal place~ the human spirit is truly resilient…and for this I am grateful.

those who listen, as well as those who suffer. To hear of such things and have no ability to act and protect or heal can be painful.

It is painful

when you hear of the atrocities inflicted by those who are meant to protect….

And the only ability we have at that point is to comfort and help heal, which is huge….but as we know, the process can be slow and painful.

Self-care is imperative, thank you for the blessing~ I felt peace when I read it.
