One thing you have to remind yourself about weight is that it is a symptom of what is going on in the body! It’s NOT the problem! So then you need to ask yourself…what is the problem…this can be different for every single human being! For me…when I was in high school (now I’m 25) I ate horribly! Yes, I had a mother who always insisted on eating the fruits and vegetables…but who wants to eat those when the desserts are looking so appealing and mouth watering?
This is what sugar does to the body…when you consume sugar is wrecks your body. Sugar is very acidic to the body…your body should be slightly alkaline to function properly without any illnesses/problems (when we have problems it’s because we are acidic…cancer/asthma/diabetes/heart disease/or any condition.
Because sugar is so acidic – it enters your body – the interesting part is that if the blood pH level gets off it’s slightly alkaline area – you die! So your body is smart and takes measures to ensure that you still live…it uses the minerals in you body that are alkaline…such as the most abundant mineral, calcium, also magnesium, phosphorus, and many more! So if you eat this sugar you are creating and environment that is acidic to the body and your body reacts by pulling out the minerals, of which are being used to rebuild bone, connective tissue, teeth, etc… So now we have to much sugar in the body…turning to fat cells because we can’t utilize all of it…then our body is missing lots of minerals. The best way to get these minerals back into our body…green leafy vegetables…romaine lettuce, spinach, chard, kale, parsley, cilantro, and many other herbs as well… broccoli is not a green LEAFY vegetable! These vegetables then need to be chewed until creamy – or you can make a smoothie out of them as I do. I fill the blender up half way with fruit (an combination’s that you like…explore..its fun!) then add in a green leafy vegetable…always rotate different vegetables!
There is a warning here…the first week I try to do about 1-2 qts a day and build up from there – I’ve heard of ppl doing up to a gallon a day – basically that’s all they are eating! But you will detox in the first week or two! Meaning that the toxins in your body – and everybody is loaded because of our environment, and our food supply is very toxic!
Many detox symptoms can include headaches, muscle aches, mucous – resulting in runny nose, cold/flu like symptoms! Expect these – but you will feel absolutely amazing when you are done…you will start to lost weight rapidly as your body is now getting the proper nutrition that you’ve been lacking in! It’s amazing how the body can healing itself, giving the right tools your weight symptoms will disappear!
As I mentioned above weight can depend on a variety of different things…but the most common is the intake of too much sugar…in the form of high fructose corn sugar mostly…but all carbohydrates also turn to sugar in the body…so basically all processed foods!
