Because a recent friend I was hoping (!) might want to spend some time with me today…and then, perhaps, on New Year’s…just reaffirmed his skittishness. If worst comes to worst, I can kiss my friend Raisa, though it won’t be the knee-trembling experience I had hoped for. Mostly because we regard each other as sisters, which would not be conducive to tongueing. Plus she’s just had jaw surgery and won’t be keen on opening her mouth.
