lose weight
slowly but surely...

I’ve been overweight my whole life…never been able to say that I was ‘skinny’ or even ‘average’. I’ve been on plenty of diets and exercise programs but nothing ever seems to help me lose the weight and KEEP it off. The last few years I’ve fluctuated somewhere between 200 and 230 and have been really frustrated with the fact that I can’t seem to stay put once I start making progress!

But there is hope after all!

I work at a department store and recently changed my position. Now instead of sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day I am walking around on the sales floor for close to 10 hours a day tearing down and rebuilding aisles, displays, etc. It is hard work but I love it…and the best part is I am losing weight because of it!! I weighed my heaviest (230) as of a few months ago but ever since I was promoted to this new position I have slowly but surely lost 20 POUNDS!! I think the trick is all the moving i’m doing during the day. The only time I actually sit down for anything is when I take my 30 minute lunch. It is making such a difference in my life and I hope I can continue to lose and maybe beat this for good!!
