Finish Mom's cross stitch project (read all 4 entries…)
Didn't make it in time for Christmas...

So, I failed the challenge of trying to get the project done in time to send to her for Christmas, but I still want to get it done as soon as I can. Maybe I’ll be able to send it to her for Mother’s Day. Anyway, in consequence of failing the challenge I’d set for myself, I’m not going to drink in 2010. That should help out the budget a little, at least…

Comments:

Don't feel bad.

I’ve been waiting for a knitted scarf from my son for about 5 years. He’s followed in my footsteps on the procrastination path. I think it may have more to do with the air in the NW though. I too am a NW transplant to Kansas and he’s still there. Hard to shake it off, ya know.

Yeah, I’ve always kind of found myself procrastinating on things like that, and I’ve found that it does seem to be a tendency I’ve seen a lot in people from the rural parts of the Northwest. It’s hard to shake, but I’m certainly trying. I hope you enjoy the scarf once you get it.

SimplyStacey is focusing on writing!

She will love it

whenever she gets it! Homemade gifts are so special.

Thanks!

I appreciate that. I’m sure she’ll love it, but I’ve got to get it to her before she can enjoy it!

Joe Mayer has gotten 3 cheers on this entry.
