People have gotten so used to instant communication that it’s almost sad. People don’t send Christmas and birthday cards anymore, and they certainly don’t send hand-written notes or letters. It may be considered an antiquated practice now-a-days, but I think it’s time for the hand-written gesture to make a comeback.

I personally mailed over 20 Christmas cards this year, and I’m pretty proud of myself for that one. People forget about the simple things that put a smile on someone else’s face. Taking the time to write a short, simple note in each card could make a world of difference.
