Use my Moleskine to take notes (read all 4 entries…)
Slight Moleskine Obsession

I can safely cross this off my list now. I’m taking all of my notes in my Moleskine(s) and my collection has grown. While I first only had one pocket Moleskine and was slowly figuring it out, now I have more. Now I have one personal one for more individualized notes (the original Moleskine that I bought) and I take it with me just about all of the the time. Then I bought a pocket Reporter to keep with my camera for notes on photos I take with my Holga camera. Then I bought another pocket Moleskine for keeping all of my work related notes, which I did all last term and will continue to do through this term. Just before Christmas I picked up a pocket Storyboard Moleskine, but I haven’t really used that yet. For Christmas I received a Weekly Diary, which I’ve started using already. I love my Moleskines.

wow, I am just an amateur Moleskiner!

I fell out of the Moleskine habit a few years ago; I had a daily dairy, but it didn’t serve my needs.

Then I went to a book fair last year where there were lots of giveaways, and the woman running the Moleskine booth was nice enough to give me a Moleskine drawing diary in the Van Gogh orange. Heaven.

Now I’ve also purchased a pocket grid notebook. My only problem: I love bright colors, and so the black doesn’t really do it for me—I’ve put stickers on the grid notebook to cheer it up. Am VERY tempted by the storyboard notebook (see screenplay goal), and I think I’ll probably break down and buy the weekly diary because I hate hate hate my current day planner.

there is just something very tactile and friendly about them, isn’t there?

the friendly notebooks

It almost seems like there is some sort of magic about them. I always have one with me, just in case. I still haven’t started drawing in the storyboard notebook yet, but the weekly diary is great for planning things out. But I just love having a notebook with me.
I think that I need to use some stickers to tell the various pocket notebooks apart from each other!

magic is right...

just the right amount of casual and formal…welcoming, and yet not so Fancy that you can’t write the first thought that comes into your head.

Stickers help a lot…I use a LOT of big old notebooks when I’m writing at home, and they’re helpful to sort out.
