This is pretty much the greatest.

Once I was at a party and this girl was telling a story about how she used to date an NYPD homicide detective, and the girls standing around listening were rapt – rapt, I tell you! – and then a guy was like “So what’s up, ladies?” and then everyone kind of hemmed and hawed, because men don’t seem to understand that one.
