It’s in the teens temperature wise in my area of Ohio. It’s also snowed like the dickens.
This has caused me to be stuck in my small house with my 7 cats. It’s almost like being in the psych ward, except for the lack of medication.
I do not like snow. It’s cold, wet, and nasty. I don’t understand anyone who claims to like it. Are you on crack? Have you ever really dealt with the snow? Or do you just sit in your house admiring it?
“Oh, but it’s so pretty!!!”
Yeah, for about a day it’s pretty. After that it looks like a disgusting grey slushie.
I’ve lived in Ohio for a majority of my life. The prettiness novelty wore off in my childhood, when I had to walk in it to get to school. (And no, it wasn’t 2 miles going up hills both ways)
It’s frustrating to drive in it. The people in my area act like loons, like they’ve never seen snow in their lives. If there is a dusting, people will drive super-cautious, about 5 mph. If it’s a blizzard, they get all road raged and drive 75 mph.
There have been countless times that I’ve almost been ran off the road, crashed into when I’m out. Hell, normally when I’m employed, I work within 30 mins of my house. I’ve had the drive home take 2-3 hours. After a 12 hour shift, that isn’t too fun.
