Ok, so my current bike is not really suitable for daily ‘getting around town’ biking. It needs new tubes, and I’m sure a hell of a lot more, but it was free.

I’d like to use my bike to tool around town more, since the price of transit has gone up and really, it takes nearly an hour to get to certain places on the bus that may only take 30 minutes by bike. Seeing as my current mode of cycle transit is pretty much a piece of crap, I walked into a bike shop yesterday to browse and test a few single speed road bikes, as well as some hybrids for comparison purposes. Need to do a little more research, but hopefully I’ll be getting a new bike relatively soon.
