get 5's on my AP tests
Worth doing!
3 5s so far! — 2 years ago
Calculus AB, US History AP and Chemistry AP.
Calculus—by far the easiest AP. Take good notes. Review. Practice. Learn how to do simple arithmatic in your head for the non calculator part. Oh, the good old days.
History—pain. pain. pain. I ended up rereading the textbook, purchasing (and using!) SparkNotes’ 500 flashcards (quite helpful in fact), read Princeton Review’s test prep book along with The Dummy’s Guide to US History (you may laugh, but it worked!). And then, I studied timelines like the whoah. Basically, start prepping for this in March, keep on schedule in April (especially during vacation), and be dedicated. Also, practice the essays. It’s hard work, but because history isn’t my best subject, I was proud of the 5 I got.
Chemistry AP—loved the class, love the subject. Make sure your class does the labs, if not, find labs to review. Practice. Review. Etc.
Oh, now if only Art AP were this easy.
