I want to learn Spanish, because speaking spanish is part of my heritage. My mother speaks Spanish, it was her first language. My heritage is Puerto Rican, and I want that to be part of who I am. I want to teach my future children spanish, and about their heritage as well. I also want to be able to speak spanish to my mother and my family, when I go back to Puerto Rico to visit in the future.
