Masks and tapestries and drums and art oh my! I went to a party where I didn’t know anyone but the hostess, and while she was busy entertaining other people, I wandered around and looked at all the details on her walls, on her tables, in her corners. I wasn’t bored and I wasn’t uncomfortable, because I was so interested in everything. I don’t want anyone to be bored in my home. I want them to ask me questions that I can answer in the most interesting way because I’ve been so many places and seen so many things. I want to have stories connected to every little bit of seemingly inconsequential stuff in my home.

A Salute to Maude!
Bit dark, but if you haven’t seen ‘Harold and Maude’ you must! Or see it again for the 43rd time. Oh, Maude’s bizarre and delightful collections inspired my treasure hunts for years. The very best was the aromatherapy thingy. Plus you’ve got to adore her eccentricity. Psssst! Have you got yourself a truck? Don’t forget about the roadside discoveries…unique finds albeit the stories – so make them up. Have fun!
travelmickey is in the Arctic Circle... eek!
What a wonderful ambition...
I want it too! Except I have a full quota of 43 things left to do, so I’ll have to tick some of first! And yes I agree Harold and Maude is a good film.
