Overcome my eating disorder.

I ended about 7 years of pretty serious bulima as a young man (before there was even a name for it!) by tackling my feelings of helplessness in the face of it. I decided not to avoid binge eating but to avoid vomiting and take the consequences. I’m pretty chubby now but almost never vomit and I’m sure I’m healthier for it. Naturally it would be even better to also be thin, but I don’t know how to achieve both!

Congratulations—the important part is that you made a commitment and are sticking to it!!! What helped me finally recover from 16 years of bulimia is following The Body Ecology Diet, by Donna Gates.

It’s not a conventional “diet,” but a way of eating to heal the body. It has helped me regulate my cravings and my former constant need to eat & eat. It takes commitment, but it looks to me like you have that already!
