I originally moved to Asheville, NC sight unseen from Chicago, IL in 2005. It has the best of both worlds as far as a nice eclectic downtown and all the beauty of the mountains . I found a house in one weekend and bought and moved into it 17 days later. Needless to say I am experienced and willing to help you from my experience. I still maintain my home there and am happy to assist travelers by renting out rooms on a monthly basis. I come from the mentality anything is possible and don’t believe other peoples experiences, it will be whatever you decide it to be.On that note I will head back to Asheville either beginning of April,10 or at the end of the school year.
